More than 30 people were injured in the incident and several are still missing

At least 13 people died Sunday after a double-decker boat carrying more than 100 people capsized in the Chao Phraya river, in an area north of Bangkok.
More than 30 people were injured in the incident and several people are still missing after the accident, which came after the boat hit a concrete flood barrier on Sunday afternoon, the Bangkok Postreported.
Passengers on the boat were Thai Muslims traveling to an Islamic religious ceremony, the Associated Pressreported.
Harbor Department official Surasak Sansombat said the boat’s listed capacity was 50 passengers, and that it likely capsized from the passenger overload and a strong current in the river, according to the AP.
Rescue efforts for victims of the accident continued Sunday.
